LWSI’s Essentia™ Receives ONC-ACB Certification by Drummond Group

03/19/2015– (Little Rock, AR) LWSI, a leading provider of software and services for Behavioral Health organizations, today announced that its Essentia™ electronic health record (EHR) software has achieved Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC-HIT) 2014 Edition Complete Certification via Drummond Group.

To earn the certification, Essentia was tested to be in accordance with applicable standards and certification criteria put forth by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

“We’re pleased to provide our clients the ability to use Essentia to meet all Stage 2 criteria for Meaningful Use of an EHR,” said Mickey Lavender, CEO of Lavender and Wyatt Systems, Inc.  “This certification will move our clients into the next phase of healthcare IT and Meaningful Use incentives.  Behavioral health agencies will be able to provide higher levels of enhanced client care with maximum business efficiency.”

Essentia v7, which met the requirements for Complete EHR Ambulatory certification, is an enterprise behavioral health software solution that brings together EMR, business intelligence, human services, and financial functions. Behavioral healthcare organizations can deploy Essentia software in-house, running on a single server, or as a managed, software-as-a-service solution. In either case, a web-based interface simplifies information access and reduces the time required to learn the new system.
