EMR’s user-designed portlets enable clinicians and administrative personnel to define the workflow for their team or for a larger workgroup. The portlets provide flexibility and deliver client-specific integrated summaries, goals, objectives, problems, assessments, etc. Through the use of a flexible portlet interface, clinicians can design a work environment that better meets their individual needs, is more efficient, and provides quick access to client information.

Clinical Documentation Management
With organizationally-defined process triggers, an infinite number of document formats, electronic signature, and locking options, LWSI’s Essentia Clinical Document System provides behavioral healthcare with a solution that improves overall on-time completion of required clinical documentation while reducing the time necessary for completion. Flexible to the extreme, the Clinical Document System components can be operated in almost any environment required by a clinician or service provider, whether remote, on call, or on site. With 360° patient and clinician views, the Clinical component of LWSI’s Essentia solution provides a powerful solution with an extremely intuitive interface.

The Clinical components of Essentia support serving your clients by delivering to the desktop an integrated tool that facilitates both the service and service delivery side of organizational resource management. You use the forms you’ve always used, but now all document interactions can occur electronically, and all client information is automatically populated via the Human Services interface for form completion and treatment plan management.

Prescription Writer
Another impressive element of the Clinical components of Essentia is the prescription writer—Clinicians can issue a prescription directly from the desktop or clinician’s electronic pad, and that information is automatically processed to the pharmacy and entered into the client record. A time-saving option that supports complete documentation while increasing the accuracy of dispensed medication.

Scanning, Importing to the Client Record, and Document Management Radiological imagery, dated client information, even Clinician notes can all be scanned into the TWAIN and ISIS compliant Clinical component of the Essentia information management solution. You can immediately access stored files from the desktop and significantly reduce the overhead associated with maintenance and storage of paper client files.
